This month we are focussing on reusing and upcycling waste items . We worked by going on a collection drive in Al Qudra desert to pick up plastic bottles, tyres, ceramic sinks, broken ceramic tiles, a pump etc. We’ve helped to keep the desert clean but we then also decided to sort the waste collected and see how we can turn into useful objects. We glued the pieces of coloured tile into a mosaic pattern on the used sink . Then we fixed it on a used tyre and put a pump into to make a garden fountain it. Here is the pretty sink we created!
We are continuing to work with used cardboard cartons , plastic bottles to reuse these objects in our homes for different purposes.
