“We rise by lifting others”
This motto is the defining factor of each action of a DIPSITE. Dipsites always put service to society before themselves as encapsulated in our motto that provides invaluable inspiration and guides our students. An important part of these endeavors is to recognize silent heroes who make our lives carefree.
Heroes needn’t wear capes or fly. Heroes are those who toil day and night with little consideration of the rewards they will receive. We Dipsites are gifted with a committed host of such Heroes who make life at DPS as homely as possible and help us on every little step on our learning journey. We at DPS Sharjah, ensure such heroes don’t go unnoticed for their invaluable contribution and gift them with well-deserved appreciation. What is better than to gift them on Children’s Day? On Children’s Day, the 14th of November, middle school Dipsites collected and gifted the Ancillary Staff, the silent heroes, with various daily supplies. It was a part of the MSR activity to show them that they care about them and to make them realise that the work they do is invaluable and must not go unnoticed by society.
We do this as a part of the MSR Activity, which is founded on the idea that we as dipsites must strive to change the world. Several colorful bags, decorated charmingly with Thank You Cards were presented by our students to show their gratitude. Indeed a grateful heart is a magnet for miracles.
