Can Collection Drive

In order to support the initiative of EEG-For a Greener and Cleaner Environment-Our students collected Aluminium cans, and stored it class wise. The ECO Club members went around and collected them from class rooms and dropped them in the big bins provided. Our students collected the cans from the community, hotels, malls, Grocery shops etc. Dennis Sir, helped to Co-ordinate the can collection drive in the boys section and Ameenath Ma’am coordinated in the girls section. Later the cans were taken and weighed, tabulated, recorded and deposited with EEG-at the American International School Abu Dhabi on 22/02/2018

We are proud to announce that our school has collected 84 kgs of Aluminum cans (6300cans).By doing this we could reduce 1.26 metric ton Carbon dioxide emission. Also, we could save 2.01 cubic metre of land fill. Finally we could save 19.15 million BTU of energy.
