We recognize that around the world poverty and resource scarcity is a barrier to addressing climate change and habitat destruction. Out of this understanding our students have taken on the task of providing a water pump to a high school in the Philippines that currently does not have one. Soon construction of the pump will be complete and our students will be traveling there for the inauguration of the pump. We endeavor to assist these students in starting their own Roots and Shoots group. It is our hope that they will be able to twin with us in the future.
