An inter school fancy dress competition was conducted by Shining Star International School on 5th December 2019, with the theme ENDANGERED ANIMALS for KG 1, FAIRY TALES for KG 2, PRODUCTS WE USE FOR GRADE 1 AND 3R’s for grade 2. Students of Bhavan’s Kindergarten and grade 1 and 2 participated with great enthusiasm; they dressed up with recycled materials and also spoke about the theme they portrayed. K G and Grade 1 tiny tots have grabbed the 1st prize, while grade 2 bagged 3rd prize. Our little ones spread the message of sustainability through their pretty green walk.
A famous quote says: “When you put the whole world picture together, recycling is the right thing to do.”The objective of the activity was to make children appreciate, learn and progressively understand that the resources should be used carefully, and also reuse waste material and not always depend on new things. They learned the valuable lessons of Reuse, Reduce and Recycle and to maintain an ecological balance to making maximum use of eco-friendly materials.
