The teen contingent of HENA’s Global Citizens have volunteered with the SEDRA Foundation for Inclusion. They have attended a workshop and training on how to work sensitively with people of determination in preparation for the Special Olympics, and they participated in the Youth Talent Superhero Celebration. They also volunteered at the local Special Olympics last March and are signed up to volunteer again this March in the International Special Olympics games that will take place in Abu Dhabi.
