HENA’s kids took a dhow trip to learn all about the lives and work of Abu Dhabi’s traditional pearl divers. They learned how to live sustainably on the ocean, how to make fish hooks out of clam shells and how to navigate using the stars. Abu Dhabi’s own Mike Metzger–an expert on traditional UAE life–took them on a journey through UAE history telling the kids all about how people lived in this region before the development of its great cities.
