Students of GEMS United Indian School participated in the 18th session of the Annual EEG Clean up UAE in the capital emirate of Abu Dhabi on 15th of December 2019. Student volunteers all equipped with T shirts bearing the slogan, cotton gloves and biodegradable plastic bags for the collection of waste. The participants collected about 4 tons of waste from the site near Mussaffah. They learnt how imperative it was for schools to promote recycling of materials.
