Save Soil is a global movement to address the soil crisis by bringing together people from around the world to stand up for Soil Health and supporting leaders of all nations to institute national policies and actions toward increasing the organic content in cultivable soil.

Grade 5 students at Delhi Private School, Sharjah, Primary Wing became a part of ‘SAVE SOIL’ webinar conducted on 26th April with great enthusiasm and took it as a privilege to be an active participant. ‘Save Soil’, is a global movement launched by Sadhguru, a visionary and humanitarian in collaboration with the United Nations. He addresses the soil crisis by bringing together people from around the world to stand up for Soil Health. The Save Soil movement is about bringing humanity together to keep the magic of soil alive. One of the remedies suggested was to bring back at least 3-6% organic content in the soil.

Student volunteer of the Save Soil Movement, Ms. Maheshwari conducted a very interactive webinar for students from Japan which covered all aspects of soil preservation and what the young generation can do to save the only planet we have got. More than 250 students attended the workshop along with the science and social studies department of the primary wing. It was followed by a question-and-answer session on how student community can contribute and be a part of the solution. They promised to work with nature and not against it. The dipsites pledged to do their best to preserve soil.
