Save Energy Day

Saving energy is one of the best ways to conserve our natural resources. To instill awareness about this concept in our little ones, BRS Kindergarten held ‘Save Energy Day’ on 18.9.2016.

Every class held a circle time to discuss and learn about ways to become energy efficient. Children were shown audio visuals and PPT to aid better understanding of the topic.

The concept was displayed on the Bulletin board. KG2 children illustrated in their scrap books how they would save energy. KG1 children made a simple craft with magazine paper. Teachers demonstrated conservation of energy by turning off the lights in the classrooms/attached washrooms and storerooms whenever they left the rooms. Children were encouraged to do the same. Given below are a few snapshots of the day.
