What activities have you undertaken this school year only?
- Created Advertisements to promote sustainability within the school and the wider community.
- Started a Roots and Shoots science innovation club and dedicated 50 minutes per week setting goals to achieve in terms of promoting sustainability in the school and wider community.
What activities do you commit to implementing (for the rest of the school year)?
- We wish to engage in community service which include projects that create awareness against animal cruelty. We are currently in the process of trying to build a dispenser that serves as a feeder for stray animals.
- We wish to create awareness of pollution by starting a clean up campaign first within the school and thereafter, hoping to reach the wider community.
What can you do for UAE’s community, animals and our environment?
Try to provide their basic needs ie: food, shelter, love and care. We hope that our project to create dispensers to feed stray animals and provide them with a shelter could be embraced as a countryside and thereafter, worldwide solution to animal cruelty. We hope that our campaigns reach the wider communities across the UAE and creates awareness about how important it is to love and care for our home, our earth. Encourage the world, one person at a time to spread the message and make a change.
